Michel Koopman - Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Michel is a senior operator and entrepreneur with a mix of small business and corporate successes in a global capacity. At this stage, he is most passionate about maximizing the business success and potential of others. He and his team dedicate their time as growth advisors and executive coaches to high performing business executives.

In addition to being the Founder and CEO at 2Swell and CxO Coaching, he has served in a number of key executive roles, including Co-Founding Partner at Bond Growth, Chief Commercial Officer at Banyan Medical, CEO at getAbstract, CEO at ARMS Medical, Managing Director at Citrix Systems, plus a number of other prior roles, board and advisory positions. He is a servant leader focused on growing companies by delivering new go-to-market strategies and elevating teams to perform at their full potential.

Michel has generated over hundreds of millions in revenue annually while increasing stockholder value and getting companies ready for higher value equity transactions. He has coached professionals at all levels with diverse backgrounds at small and large organizations, including chief executives at F100 companies.

He is a Forbes Business Council Member and has been published and mentioned in over 80 articles in media outlets like Forbes.com, The Washington Post, Strategy Magazine, Fast Company, Miami Herald, and others. Michel is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of The George Washington University School of Business.

Erika Star Shriftman - Chief Creative Director, Co-Founder

From the green room to the boardroom to the playroom, Erika brings a diversified business and creative background to 2Swell as a founding partner. As a former NBC TV producer, Erika was responsible for creating and producing award-winning segments for the networks leading news programs. This dynamic job enabled her to create influential contacts with regional and national media, pointing her as the ideal candidate to land the prestigious role of founding the Miami office of Harrison & Shriftman, an elite industry leader in public relations, marketing and special events. As the director and founder of the Miami office, Erika established and built the agency's reputable office, building a client base that consisted of some of the most prestigious luxury fashion, lifestyle brands. Known as one of the best, most accomplished and respected publicists in the southeast, the Miami office was one of three key offices as part of Harrison & Shriftman's sale to mega media house, Omnicom. Her most recent endeavor as co founder of C By Me, LLC combined her passions of creativity, clothing and kids. Erika dedicates her time as a volunteer at the Make a Wish Foundation of Southern Florida and sits on the board of the The Miami Children's Museum.


Michael Bandy - Advisor

Michael Bandy (Mike) is a successful senior operator with a mix of corporate, small business and entrepreneurial experiences. His success spans decades and many industries, including retail, healthcare, technology, real estate and professional services. Mike has held senior executive roles at numerous companies, including Lucent Technologies, Waterfront Group, Banyan Medical Systems, 2Swell, Corp. and more; he also owns/invests in a number start-up businesses. Mike leads with a passion for the success of the team and its members; his strengths includes looking out further into the future than most, while leveraging what is right in front to drive momentum. He holds three Bachelors degrees (public relations, advertising and business management) and a MBA (concentration in International Business). Mike lives between North Carolina and Florida and is a proud father of four.

Robert Greer - Advisor

Rob is sought after by clients for his ability to hire, organize and motivate sales teams and optimize the sales process to get the job done.  He has unique cross industry experience within both large and entrepreneurial environments.  His engineering mindset, dedication to excellence and love for sales drive him and his teams to perform at their best to complete “the mission”. Rob's career began as a Distinguished Military Graduate with a 4 year R.O.T.C. Engineering Scholarship from the University of Minnesota and is a graduate of Ranger, Airborne and Air Assault Schools.  After a successful military career, he entered the pharmaceutical sales world as a District Sales Manager at Pfizer. Rob’s sales accomplishments include many #1s at Pfizer and United Chemicals of Belgium.  Rookie of the Year, Representative of the Year, District of the Year and Region of the Year over an 8-year period. He was then recruited by Caldera Medical, a medical device company, as the National Sales Director.  He built and led the team that took the company into  hyper-growth from 2MM in revenue to 10MM in 4 years. Rob was then brought in by the CEO of getAbstract, Inc.  His leadership brought 30% growth and long-term agreements with Facebook, Boeing, CH2M Hill, Hewlett-Packard, Royal Bank of Canada, SSM Health, Adobe, Western Union, and Exxon-Mobile. In addition to his leadership role at 2Swell, Rob’s current endeavors include being the Founder of ARMS Inc.

James Shelby - Advisor

Peter brings over 30 years of professional experience as a US Marine, public servant, and global executive. Edward (Ed) Rodriguez - Advisor

Edward (Ed) Rodriguez is an experienced Executive, Advisor and Operator with proven strategy and execution experience to build and transform organizations, define and launch differentiated products, grow revenue, and turnaround teams. Ed spent 20+ years at Citrix where he held leadership positions across Sales, Products and Marketing with the final 10 years serving as a Vice President. Along the way, Ed’s entrepreneurial spirit had him dabbling in Real-estate, SaaS Startups and Turnaround Consulting. This led to eventual Partnerships, Board Memberships, and Operating roles at a PropTech startup in Community Management - ONR, Short-Term Rental leader in Gainesville FL - Southern Comfort Properties, and a 30-year-old organization in Global Secure Payments Solutions – Printech. As a passionate leader, mentor and coach, Ed thrives on people development, problem solving and strategic thinking. Melissa (MJ) Vogel - Marketing Director

MJ is a marketing professional with experience in luxury goods, healthcare technology, medical products, beauty, private equity and fine dining. She specializes in creating unique brand experiences with effective and attractive marketing messaging. MJ has directed digital strategy projects surrounding SEO, SEM, ASO and marketing automation. MJ has deep experience producing large galas as well as small, intimate events and has hosted a former US President, sitting Vice President, various sports figures and celebrities. She has a thorough understanding of aesthetics, color theory and design and uses this knowledge to help clients elevate their brands with fresh digital assets, gorgeous product packaging and an upgraded online presence. She has served as creative director and stylist for photoshoots, fashion shows, art shows and video shoots, including on-set experience in major motion films. MJ enjoys volunteering, donating her artwork to silent auctions for Make-A-Wish and the American Heart Association. She loves snowboarding in Jackson Hole, international travel and is a proud dog mom to Kaiser.
